Title: Stanfield Hall, Norfolk

Client: Private

Job: Alterations and refurbishment of Stanfield Hall

Date: Ongoing

Stanfield Hall is a historically important Grade II* listed building located in central Norfolk. The hall was mentioned in the Doomsday Book but the current moated house, which is surrounded by parkland and gardens, has it’s origins in the 16th Century. Unfortunately the property had suffered with incongruous modern extensions and a general lack of maintenance before the new owner engaged Owen Bond Partnership to refurbish, modernise and extend the property.

The design and work was carried out in close consultation with the owners, the Local Authority and English Heritage and has included restoration of the interior and exterior of the building, modernising the services in the building and the creation of a family kitchen. These works have been carried out over a three year period and have restored the house to its former glory and created a family home suited to modern living.
